Tru-Flow Timing Chain Kits
The Timing Chain market has been changing dramatically over the past few years with most models now coming out with Chain to drive the Engine.
The Timing Chain System comprises of five main components, Chain, Chain Tensioner, Guides and Sprockets (Gears).
Each item is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of the system.
Failure of one or more of these items could lead to severe engine damage.
The Chain connects the crankshaft to the camshafts which in turn controls the opening and closing of the engine’s valves.
Chain Guides are used to keep the timing chain from vibrating.
The timing chain is kept under proper tension by a chain Tensioner,
Sprockets transfer the power from the crank to chain to camshafts.
