'Megaburst', the ultimate L.E.D Strobe for harsh environments from Narva. The ultimate in high output light intensity and reliability in emergency lighting for harsh environments has been announced in the latest release from Narva with the new ‘Megaburst' strobe.

Using high intensity L.E.D's with 5 selectable flash patterns along with rugged construction, the Narva ‘Megaburst' high output L.E.D strobe offers a high level of safety and reliability. For convenience in the field, an internal switch can be triggered to alter the flash pattern without removing the lamp from its mounting.

The new ‘Megaburst' EMC approved lamp has a large aluminium heat sink base and cap to cater for the heat generated by the high output L.E.D's. Clever electronics are built into the circuit board that can be programmed for a variety of applications to suit the working environment. The circuit board is protected by epoxy resin and with no moving parts, ultra long life of up to 100,000 hours life can be expected from the L.E.D's.

A safer working environment is created due to the high flux L.E.D's mounted on the circuit board plus the latest in high power L.E.D's mounted on a central shaft, creating a primary and secondary effect in the strobe.

By nature, the L.E.D's used in the ‘Megaburst‘, draw far less power than conventional lighting sources (1.8A at 12V) whilst producing less heat. With resistance to shock and vibration the Megaburst is ideally suited to heavy duty applications in mining operations, contractors plant and equipment, earthmoving machinery etc. It is virtually maintenance free and carries a 5 year Narva warranty.
