A ‘Fit & Forget’ Submersible Boat Trailer Lamp Kit From Narva

One thing that can delay the start or completely ruin a great days boating is when you discover at the last minute the lights on the boat trailer don't work. It's usually the first thing to check and generally replace at the start of the season due to rust, corrosion, failed globes or faulty connections but these faults can occur at any time and generally do with conventional lamps.

The advent of L.E.D lighting technology has changed this to some degree, however these too can give trouble it they are not completely sealed, particularly around the wiring entry point to the lamp or where the wiring connections are close to the lamp and come in contact with the water on the launching ramp.

Taking these real life concerns on board Narva have gone to exceptional lengths to provide the trailer boat market with a set of Australia's most popular combination stop / tail lamps in a kit form that genuinely provides ‘fit and forget' reality.

Using two popular compact Model 36 L.E.D rear combination lamps with polycarbonate lenses (76mm x 155mm in size and just 40mm deep), Narva has produced a completely submersible trailer lamp kit.

To achieve this each lamp is 100% tested for leaks after the production sealing process with 9 metres of fully insulated 4 core cable hard wired into each lamp with cable entry points sealed and thoroughly tested.

The nine metres of hard wired cable is an important part of the kit as this ensures any connections can be made at the trailer plug, an area not submerged when the trailer is entering or exiting the water. The lamps each have stop / tail and reflex reflector functions with one lamp including licence plate illumination. L.E.D technology brings great new features such as low current draw, resistance to vibration with no globe filament to break, 100,000 hour life supported by the Narva L.E.D 5 year warranty and the lamps are ADR approved.
